Big Budget Movie Magadheera Buyers Shy away

The big budget magnum opus from Geeta Arts of Allu Aravind, Magadheera is now ready for release. The film stars Ram Charan, Kajal Agarwaland Sri Hari in key roles.SS Rajamouli is the director and MM Keeravani is the music director. The film will be released worldwide on July 22. Allu Aravind had wanted to sell the distribution rights region wise.

However the buyers were shocked with the price quoted by Aravind. The buyers have shied away from investing such huge amounts and therefore Allu Aravind has now decided to release the film on his own

Magadheera ready to release

Efforts are on to release Magadheera on 9 July. Magadheera is touted as the costliest film ever made in Telugu with a budget above 35 crores. SS Rajamouli who delivered hits of all films he directed so far is directing this extravagant film. Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal are doing main leads in this period film based on rebirth. Jayam Ravi Ties The Knot

 

A bevy of stars, including Spuerstar Rajinikanth, made it to the wedding of actor Jayam Ravi and Aarthi on Thursday morning. Actress Kushboo, who was present through the function, along with husband Sundar C, actress Radhika, Meena, Sridevi, and actors Rajinikanth, Jayaraman, Radharavi and Sibiraj were among those present at the wedding.

Jayam Ravi is the son of popular editor Mohan and brother of director Raja, who were present at the occasion to extend their hospitality to the guests.

At the auspicious hour, actor Jayam Ravi tied the knot with Aarthi at Mayor Ramanathan Wedding Hall. Following this, a grand reception is on the cards on June 7 in the same venue.

The film Magadheera with Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal in the lead and Sri Hari in an important role is now in the final stages of production. The film is now in the graphics stage. The film has been directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind on the Geeta Arts banner.

Devi Sree Prasad has scored the music for the film. The audio will be released this month while the film is likely to be released in July. The film has been shot extensively and Rajasthan and Gujarat and some scenes were also filmed abroad. A huge set was erected at Ramoji Film City as well.

Magadheera is about rebirth and revenge and is set in a time frame of 400 years. The expectations on the film are very high. Rajamouli gave a big hit with Yamadonga and as such, Magadheera is also expected to be a big hit.

Jr NTR Needs To Learn ‘Indian History’

He is Student No-1 on screen. But on political dais he proved to be a student no 10 or 100. He doesn’t know the difference between Mohd Ghori and Mohd Ghajini. Saying emotionally about the perseverance on the dais of Mahnadu, Jr NTR said that Mohd Ghori failed to conquer India 17 times but won at 18th time. That is the biggest flaw as that was Ghajini but not Ghori. He certainly needs a history lesson to correct that. On the other hand he asked to take that Muslim leader as inspiration and fight against Congress for next five years and wipe that out completely for the map of AP. But is that a right comparison? That warrior was a plunderer of India and treated as a villain in history of India. Is Jr NTR knowingly referring Chandrababu and yellow brigade as villains? That needs an explanation from Jr NTR anyway.

Actress says No special equation with Ram Gopal varma

She’s the spicy girl who made her debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s James; then hit rock-bottom with Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag; and now she is returning in a new avatar with the same film-maker in Aagyaat. By virtue of the fact that Priyanka Kothari’s slate of films is almost clean (except for one other Kannada film); the Hindi film industry naturally assumes that she is RGV’s sole property; but the actress debunks the myth. “I’m open to working with other film-makers as well,” she says. She also refuses the rumour that when that teenage temptress Jiah Khan made her way into RGV’s factory, Priyanka was relegated to being a prop in the maverick film-maker’s scheme of things. “Oh, this is all idle talk,” purrs the Aagyaat girl, “I was always there, and I will always be there if there is a role for me in a RGV film. Other than that, I have no special equation with him.”

She insists that film offers keep pouring in but there haven’t been too many scripts that she has found exciting and she’s positive life will change once Aagyaat is released because, “it’s the kind of role people will sit up and take notice.”

Till then the pretty lass is working on her body and her soul (she does a round of yoga every day) and also being patient about the elusive script that she believes will come soon. “Life is about belief,” she says. “I’m positive change is around the corner.”

Vinayakudu reducing weight for Amayakudu

Krishnudu, who was introduced to the Telugu Film Industry as an actor through the film "Vinayakudu" is presently acting in another film titled "Village lo Vinayakudu". Apart from this he also working in a romantic movie named "Amayakudu". For this movie he has to reduce 15 kgs of his body weight and learn Tamil also, which he is doing presently. The reason is that this movie will be made in Telugu and Tamil versions simultaneously. Kamal’s work shop huge success

Stars draw attention and that was precisely what they did on Thursday at a function organised to mark the inauguration of the Chennai International Screenwriting workshop at IIT. A large number of media personnel turned up at the event, which was attended by a host of stars including Kamal Haasan and Balu Mahendra. 

In fact, so many journalists turned up for the event that a few of the academics, including Idichandy, the dean of students, were stunned. A visibly impressed Idichandy said, “Frankly, I’m a little nervous. It is for the first time that I’m seeing such a big gathering of media personnel here.” On a lighter vein, he remarked that he wasn’t sure if he’d see such a big gathering of the media if one of the professors at the IIT were awarded a Nobel prize.

‘Kavya’s Diary’ ready for release on June 5

‘Kalavaramaye Madilo’ Movie in final stages

Shooting and other post-production formalities were completed for ‘Kalavaramaye Madilo…’ directed by Satish Kasetti and produced by Mohan Vadlapatla on the banner of Mohan Media Creations with Kamal Kamaraju and Swati in the lead. DTS mixing works remained balance for the movie. Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, ‘We canned two duets on Kamal and Swati from May 14 to 20 at Kerala.

A song, ‘Neelo Anuvananta Premunnna…’ rendered by Chitra and Roshan was shot at Alleppey Beach with the backwaters in its backdrop, while ‘O nee nee… O Neevaneee… Oka Teeray….’ rendered by Hariharan and Kalpana was choreographed at Munnar Tea Estates. Vanamali penned both the lyrics, while Ganesh Karthik handled the camera. We have plans to launch the audio by May-end and release the film in June first half. It is reportedly known that Allu Arvind is all set to make a film with Bollywood king khan Shahrukh Khanunder Geetha Arts banner. Allu Arvind's son Allu Sirish will act as the executive producer for this flick. It is also known that the story of the flick is almost finalized and a well-known South Indian director will direct this film. This will be a remake of Tamil film 'Ramana' (Tagore in Telugu).
