Star producer Aswini Dutt is making the film Kantri with NTR& Hansika in the lead roles. Meher Ramesh is directing his first Telugu film. He was the assistant of Poori Jagannath. As for the filmnagar sources, Meher Ramesh scripted Kantri keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind and narrated the script to Pawan, somehow Pawan didn’t like that script and politely said No to that director.
The director went to Bunny with minor changes in the script, even that couldn’t get finalized. Finally he approached with some more changes in the script, NTR immediately accepted to do this film. Now the film’s shoot progressing in South Africa, the director is filming couple of sings on the lead pair.

Actress Trisha has jumped onto the wagon of star Item numbers with her accepting for a special performance in Tamil super star Rajnikanth’s bilingual Kucheludu. Yes, that’s right, now Chandramukhi will be released in Mumbai, in Hindi and the best part is that Rajinikanth himself will be rendering voice.
The movie will be released by Dilip Dhanwani of the Royal Film Company with 150 prints. This is a new record for a dubbed movie.
Chandramukhi though based on the Malayalam original, Manichitrathazhu starring Mohanlal, did exceptional business in Kerala. It also broke couple of records in Telugu. Dasari son's kidnap drama ends

Dasari Narayana Rao’s son Taraka Prabhu, who was kidnapped on Tuesday, appeared at his residence in Chennai on Wednesday. He alleged that his wife, Suseela had engineered the kidnap to get his property. He also claimed that he had escaped from his kidnappers and had reached Chennai in a bus. In an interview to a private channel, Prabhu said that his wife forced him to consume alcohol after summoning him to Chittoor and made him stay in the lodge for two days. He added that he would file a case against her in Hyderabad
Meanwhile, Suseela denied her husband’s allegation while speaking to reporters at Chittoor on Wednesday. There’s more to Sameera Reddy than what meets the eye. That other stuff includes the fact that she’s a trained classical dancer, a business buff, a techno freak and a former-fat kid. “Oh yes, I was a chubby kid. But it was a jyotishi who told me that I would be an actress. I was around 14 or 15 years old then, and it made my father laugh. But I did it!” says Sameera with a grin. That business bit? “Oh, I’m a business freak!” Sameera laughs. “I’d much rather figure out what stocks are hot or which shares to pick up than read gossip about filmstars. If I’m good enough to be a brand on my own, why not exploit it?”
Being ultra-glam – does that worry her? “I love being called hot. It’s made me what I am. But there’s this pressure to be glamorous all the time,” she says. “It’s killing. One bad day and they rip you apart. The sort of pictures of me that are published and the sort of things that are written – it used to worry my father till some time ago. But when I was on vacation with my family a few times, and there was gossip that I was elsewhere, that’s when he began to be reassured that most of it was concocted.”

In quick time, Vishal, son of producer GK Reddy, has become a name to reckon with in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. His new film called Satyam is incidentally being simultaneously shot in Telugu as well, all his earlier movies having hitherto only been dubbed into Telugu. “I play a cop in the film and this would be my first attempt at portraying a police officer,” says the actor, explaining that his new, lean and mean look is especially for this film.
Satyam will see the actor pair up with Nayantara, while Kannada superstar Upendra adds to the star cast as the villain. Vishal, who began his career with a flop romantic flick Prema Chadarangam, switched gears in his next two films, Pandem Kodi and Pogaru, which incidentally were home productions, and donned the action cap. Was it a conscious decision to create an action hero image? “Not exactly. Pandemkodi and Pogaru weren’t just action flicks; they just had all elements required for a commercial movie. Post these two films, people have been convinced that I can do action successfully. But yes, I have trained in Taekwondo for some time, so am comfortable doing action,” says the actor, who’s fascinated with Korean films.

Court dismisses case against Pawan Kalyan

The Chief Metropolitan Court of Vizag struck down the case against Pawan Kalyan, much to his relief and that of his immediate family and fans. It is a known fact that Pawan Kalyan's wife Nandini had filed a case against him for marrying Renu Desai, while being married to her. She had also filed another case against Chiranjeevi and his family, citing harassment by in-laws.
Apparently, the team of police officials who had been sent to Hyderabad to gather evidence against Pawan Kalyan failed to secure any firm evidence to prove that he was indeed married to Renu Desai. So, the court promptly struck down the case due to lack of evidence.
Recently, Pawan Kalyan had admitted to being in a live-in relationship with Renu Desai, after being separated from his wife Nandini. The couple also have a son.

As per tinsel ville grapevine, Aswini Dutt is considering April 28 as the release date for the film. It is also being rumoured that NTR's next with VV Vinayak will also be launched on the same day.

Aakash, Sridevika and Vani are playing the lead roles in Prema Bandham that is releasing on March 1. The film‘s release had been put on hold for a long time for reasons best known to the filmmakers. "It‘s true the movie was supposed to release last year but in the last minute we decided to reshoot some parts of the film and that is what caused the delay. The film is very close to my heart because it almost mirrors some incidents in my life. I enjoyed working in the film," shares Aakash. Perhaps that is the reason why he is also producing the film.

But this thunder thighs girl is able to manage the show as the heroine after 17years long career. She is playing the heroine role in the film Donga Sachchinollu of Raghu and Krishna Bagawan.

Trisha- She is special

Everyone who knows Trisha closely vouches for the fact that the girl has nerves of steel. She is cool, confident and extremely hardworking. And now she has become a busy bee, and it looks like for the next six months she will not be able to squeeze out a break!
She is doing four films in Tamil- Kuruvi, Abhiyum Naanum, Sarwam, Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam and the biggest Telugu movie of the year Puri Jagannath’s Bujjigadu-Made in Chennai and also signed King with Nagarjuna.
In Telugu she has bounced back as hot property after the super success of Krishna, but before that she has to complete her Tamil assignments. How does Trisha cope up with five films at a time? The answer is simple- planning with clockwork precision her dates and hard work.
Last week she was shooting for Abhiyum Naanum continuously in the night, as the shoot was at the domestic airport in Chennai which is given for film shoot only between 11.30 pm and 5 am. And during daytime on some days she had Kuruvi shoot in various Chennai locations.
Next week she is off to Ootty for wrapping up Abhiyum Naanum. Prakash Raj and Radha Mohan the director of the film is introducing a new Tamil boy from Mumbai as Trisha’s love interest in the film. Trisha is going out of her way to accommodate the newcomer by cooperating with the director for any number of retakes.
Meanwhile the buzz in Kollywood is that Trisha is going to do the Tamil and Telugu remake of the super hit Kareena Kapoor- Shahid Kapoor love story Jab We Met. She will start the shoot in May/ June, by then her Kuruvi and Abhiyum Naanum would have released.
Trisha is in love with her work, and slowly but surely she is growing as an actress of substance with both Abhiyum Naanum and Sarwam promising to be different. Well, for the pretty girl, that’s where the thrill is.

Director Srinu Vytla latest film, being produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy, will be formally launched on 7th April. Nagarjuna and Trisha will be pairing up for the first time in this venture that might be titled as King. The film will be ready for release by 18th December, the production house announced. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the film’s music.On the other hand, Nagarjuna’s 2007 hit film Don is being dubbed into Hindi as Don No. 1 and will be released by Imran Khureshi, who has bought the film’s rights. The dubbed version will be ready for release shortly.
'King' to be launched on April 7

Nagarjuna’s next film King will officially be launched on April 7. Though Sreenu Vaitla is very busy finishing off Ready, he is trying his best to concentrate on King simultaneously.
News is that Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are giving the final touches to the script right now. The film as we had reported will be an entertainer.
After a long time, Nagarjuna will be dancing to the tunes of Devisri Prasad. They had earlier worked together for 'Manmadhudu'.
'Jalsa' to release with maximum prints abroad

America, UK, Singapore, Dubai, Canada, Malaysia, Australia… 'Jalsa', say the Geeta Arts reps will be the first Telugu film that will release with the maximum number of prints in all the above mentioned countries.
The film too has been made on a very huge budget. Apparently, the house set has been erected with Rs 1 crore and a set for a song has been put up with Rs 70 lakh.
Given that the music is already a rage, after the songs had been leaked on to the Net, there are high expectations from the film.
Another highlight, say the makers, is the presence of three heroines opposite Pawan Kalyan.
Filmi judges in 'Rela re Rela', a huge success
|Their panel consists of LR Eswari, Suddala Ashok Teja apart from Goreti Venkanna and Chandra Teja. Directors such as Dasarath and actor R Narayana Murthy too took out their time to be the guest judges on the show which is being aired on MAA TV.
The show has been very popular not only in Hyderabad, but also in districts all over AP.
Various cash prizes are also given to the participants in order to encourage them and that too has added to the popularity of the channel.
