Tabu refuses to give lecture at Wharton

Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia apparently approached Tabu to deliver a few lectures at the college. However, Tabu was not very keen and friends of the actress reveal that she turned down the offer. Tabu’s reasoning was that she didn’t feel like she was qualified to give out lectures on cinema at such a reputed college.

“She just loves what she does in Bollywood but she believes that doesn’t make her an expert of sorts to go give out lectures about it. Hence she refused going to Wharton,” said a friend. Many Bollywood personalities are invited to Wharton to speak about films and filmmaking each year. Her turn as Aushima in Mira Nair’s film The Namesake had made her a very popular actress in the US.
