Controversies seem to shadow Nayanthara. Take for examplethe recent incident where shegot mobbed at a temple in Kerala because the actress was wearing a salwar kameez instead of a sari. Apparently when her recent Tamil film was completed she presented a gold chain worth five sovereigns to each of the crew members as a gesture of appreciation for their work.

Nayan’s generosity was also revealed in another incident when pro-duction manager Venkat was admitted to a cityhospital for brain tumour.
