Recently media is portraying Goa to be a dangerous and unsafe location filled with drugs and violence. But for Indians Goa still remain a beach paradise and the ultimate party destination in the country. Shriya too feels the same way and loves going to Goa as she can unwind there and be herself. "It’s a holiday destination where people can let their hair down.

They don’t have to worry about whether they’re dressed appropriately or not," she says. "I’ve been there four times in the last five years and I think it’s not right to blame the place or the people either. It is a very sad incident, but as a single girl, you should be careful, even in the safest city."
