Mahesh Babu's brother Ramesh Babu, who recently produced Mahesh Babu starrar Athidi was arrested and released here this evening. It is said that the police arrested him regarding the income tax evasions. Recently Income Tax officials went for a sudden ride in to the residents of many Tollywood actors and producers including Mahesh Babu.
Ramesh Babu, who earlier tried himself to become a hero, could not settle as hero. Latter he turned to production and produced Arjun and Athidi with Mahesh Babu. UTV purchased Athidi rights for a whopping price. Earlier Ramesh Babu made a stunning statement that Athidi has collected Rs 21 crores in the first two weeks of its release. Athidi failed miserably at box office.
