Dasavathaaram, Kamal Hassan’s most ambitious project so far has been under-production for over two years. The film will now see the light of the day in April. The movie, which also has sizzling Mallika Sherawat, Asin and Jaya Prada, has Kamal playing 10 unusual characters. As if the 10 faces weren’t enough, the movie will have Himesh Reshammiya scoring the music for a South Indian film for the first time.
But the most important part of the marketing strategy isn’t any of the above. Hollywood star Jackie Chan will be flying down to Chennai to meet Kamal and release the music of the film in the first week of April. Kamal, who is a martial arts fan, will certainly try to get some tips from the Kung Fu maestro. Is this because of Mallika’s connection with Jackie that he is attending the audio function? Earlier Mallika acted in Jackie Chan starrar The Myth. But Kamal denies it!
