Mitrudu - The friend and the forgiver!!!
Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna who has been quite busy with his political stint as he was campaigning for the Telugu Desam party did not let his movie schedules get affected and so, he is now ready to arrive with his new movie ‘Mitrudu’. The film as the title suggests goes around the elements of friendship and also has romance and action.
This is marking the debut of Mahadev as the director and he happens to be the protégé of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. The producer for this is Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and he has been a loyal associate of Balayya since long and has come up with movies like ‘Aditya 369’ ‘Vamshanikokkadu’ in the past. The film has been given a U/A certificate by the censors and it will be hitting the screens on the first day of May. The story has been penned by Vijayendra Prasad while dialogues are given by M Ratnam.
Balakrishna is pairing up with the hot buxom beauty Priyamani in this one and it is stated that even this one has Priyamani getting into some really steamy stuff in the songs. The remaining cast has got Chandramohan, Brahmanandam, Krishna Bhagawan, Pradip Rawat, Balaiah along with others. The music for the film has been composed by melody Brahma Mani Sharma and the audio has got some real good response.
The story is said to be about the hero who tends to forgive his friend at all times and even to the extent that his family gets harmed and ruined. All this he does, just for friendship and the makers say that the movie will show the ‘Navarasas’ of Balayya. The film has been getting a lot of prominence given the fact that Balayya has not been able score a hit in his past few releases and given his box office appeal, his fans are expecting him to repeat the success of movies like ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ ‘Narasimha Naidu’.
This time however, ‘Mitrudu’ is seen more as a treat for the family audience and there will also be commercial elements that will entertain the masses. Special care has been taken to portray Balayya in a very trendy manner and inside sources say that he looks more handsome than before. There are a few other movies releasing on the same day but the major focus has been on Balayya’s film. So it remains to be seen how ‘friendly’ Balayya gets at the box office with his ‘Mitrudu’.
