The scary love letter that Trisha has got?

Trisha is ruling the south film industry for the past three to four years. Trisha opens her heart on various issues.

Whom do you consider as competition today?
There is healthy competition, but what I try to do is improve with every film and give my best.

Since you like to experiment, would you ever try an action film or a character that is totally dark?
I would love to do something different. If the script impresses me I will go forward and try something new,

Do you ever feel depressed?
Sometimes... But I have a supportive family and lots of good friends to cheer me up.

Is there any recent film you`ve seen that made you go, `I wish I`d done that?
I can’t think of one single film like that. However, I loved Rani’s character in Black.

When was the last time you laughed heartily?
Whenever I am with my school buddies. I love going for holidays with them. Recently, four of us went to Kerala for a short trip.

Is there any director you`re dying to work with?
Shankar. And I would love to work with Mani Ratnam once again.

Your idea of perfect happiness?
Get up late, chill out, have fun with friends.

Who has been your craziest fan?
Someone who wrote me a love letter with his blood . It was scary.

What do you do for fun?
I try out different kinds of cuisines. I try out all kinds of food—from small joints to 5-star hotels—along with my friends.

What is your favourite cuisine?
Thai food. I mostly end up eating at the Lotus Pond at The Park.

Do you dislike anything about your appearance? Would you like to change anything?
My nose is big and eyes are small. But I don’t want to change them, I love them anyways (smiles).

How do you keep fit?
Thanks to my genes, I don’t put on weight. But now, I have started working out and am on a sandwich diet.

Do you follow a diet plan?
Not really.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Tough question. (Laughs) Will think about it and let you know.

What`s been your most expensive splurge?
A black BMW that I got a few months back. I also bought a Fendi bag recently.

How many pair of shoes do you own?
About 200. I never get tired of picking up something new.
Who are your idols in the industry? So many people... and among them I have to mention director Priyadarshan who gave me my first break. He is cool and hasn’t changed a bit, even after becoming a top director in Bollywood.

What does friendship mean to you?
A lot.

What according to you is the most overrated virtue?
Modesty

Do you ever long for a normal life?

I lead a very normal life even now. I go out with friends—to malls and movies—and contrary to what people think, we manage to do this without attracting too much attention.
