Ramya Krishna is fond of NTR mom’s biryani

“Among the Hyderabadi restaurants, I frequent Golden Dragon at Taj and Mainland China for their yummy dimsums and crispy corn. Little Italy also serves nice Italian cuisine,” said Ramya Krishna. “The food and ambiance in totality can make a big difference. It can make you go back again and again. Fusion 9 is one such restaurant. You get different kinds of global cuisine there. I like the pita bread and hummus — a Lebanese preparation and the Burmese soup khas wey,” added Ramya Krishna.
When I asked about her favorite dishes,” However, when it comes to Andhra and Hyderabadi food, I prefer to eat at home. I am fond of all kinds of Andhra pickles, and vulavacharu. But when I am too hungry, avakai and curd rice are just right for me. I also like the typical South Indian breakfast comprising idli, dosa, upma, uttapam etc. Though I basically opt for vegetarian cuisines, bommidalu pulusu is one non-veg dish that I can’t resist. I can also prepare certain local vegetarian dishes like pachchadi and pappu. It will come as a surprise to many, but I am not too fond of biryani. But I liked the biryani prepared by NTR Jr’s mother.”
