A R Rahman to take Rs 10 Cr for Robot

When it comes to big banner films, one can only talk of top notch music and talking about top notch music one can only think of the one and only musical genius A R Rahman who has created a revolution in the film industry with his unique tunes and scoring great hits with his music. But then quality comes with a price and if you want to afford Rahman then you really need to have a fat purse.

It is known news that Rahman has been roped in to compose the tunes for the ambitious venture of Shankar ‘Robot‘ which stars superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Reports say that Rahman is said to have charged a whopping Ten Crores for churning out the tunes for this project.

Given the nature of Shankar and the magnanimity of the movie, it looks like every penny is worth spending on Rahman and the musical maestro has already got on to the job of composing and creation which means that his mammoth remuneration has been accepted. It now remains to be seen how far will Rahman justify his fee for this heavy duty film.
