“I wonder why people even think about me using artificial ways to look older than my age! People who are close to me know what I am. I am like any other 17-year-old who likes hanging out with my friends and going shopping,” said Hansika Motwani. “Now that I’ve entered films I am also meeting people who befriend me just to use my star status but I keep them away from me. I do not avoid such people. I smile at them but also make sure that they know I am not much fond of them,” she added.
“I have a select group of friends and I go out with them very often. Even on the sets when I shoot a film, I do my work and leave so that I get to spend some time with them. Friendship means a lot to me and I know my true friends will never leave me come what may and who will never believe in any rumors, come what may. I don’t want to loose my innocence to make it big in the industry,” said Hansika.
