This is the first film for which all the songs composed in overseas. Manisharma took 25 days for the first 4 songs. The title song 123 nene Kantri was composed in USA, this song was sung by NTR.
Meanwhile, Aswini Dutt made a statement that he is going to produce a film per year with NTRjr.
Story line of Kantri - Kranthi is orphan and brought up in the Orphan’s Ashramam. He is always ready to do anything for the betterment of the Ashramam which brought up him. He shakes hands with a gang but he gets differences with that Gang. A sudden incident brings the change in Kranthi’s life-that is how & why this Kranthi changes to Kantri is the story.
Hansika is playing the Varalakshmi role and Tanisha is playing the Priya role.Prakash Raj;s role be another highlight for this film.
