A sanitaryware company, which recently launched a few new models, has apparently titled one of their washbasins after Simran. And they haven’t restricted themselves to Simran. Other washbasin models manufactured by the company are sporting names like Mahima and Tabu among others. According to insiders, the ‘Simran’ washbasin has turned out to be a hot-selling piece primarily because of its well-designed curves. However, the company refrained from using the images of any of these stars during their promotional campaigns. When contacted Simran, she says, “This is definitely news to me. I did not even have the faintest idea that a washbasin was named after me.”
