Vikram to play opposite Mexican beauty

Tamil producer Thanu, who is making Kandhaswamy with Vikram, is all getting ready to produce Indo-Mexican joint production to be made in Spanish and Tamil. The producer went to Mexico along with his crew for the shooting of Vikram-Shriya starrar Kandhaswamy, which will be dubbed in to Telugu as Mallanna. While shooting in Mexico for Kandaswamy, we have shown the LCD trailer of Kandhasamy to the concerned officials in Mexico.

They were hugely impressed and provided us the Government helicopter for five days to hunt for the locations, a rare gesture indeed. Then they came up with the proposal of a joint production and signed Vikram for the main lead. They made me the honorary ambassador for the project and we signed a memorandum of understanding. To be directed by Susi Ganesan, the film will feature a Mexican heroine and a mixed cast for other roles. Vikram’s Mallanna with Shirya in the female lead and veteran Telugu actor Krishna in a pivotal role is slated for a summer release.
