Income-tax officials on Monday reportedly arrested actor Krishna’s brother and producer G Adisheshagiri Rao for tax evasion. He is on the board of directors of Padmalaya Enterprises Private Limited. Adisheshagiri Rao reportedly has to pay Rs 1.5 crore tax arrears to the IT department. "He was arrested as he was not responding to notices issued by the income-tax department," an I-T official.
Last week, I-T officials had arrested G Ramesh Babu, director of Padmalaya, on similar charges. According to the income-tax officials, he would have to stay put at his house in Jubilee Hills.
