Shobhan Babu is no more

Shobhan Babu, who ruled film industry for three decades passed away at 10:50 AM today in Chennai. It is said he fell down from steps in his residence and was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Chennai and was under medical observation and latter the doctors declared him dead. He is survived by one son and three daughters.

Starting his career with Daivabalam, he acted in many films playing small roles and his first film as hero is Veerabhimanyu. Adavidora is his last film. In his three decades of successful career, apart from many successful films, he received five Nandi and four film fare awards.
