Prabhas ‘ Katthi’ with Gunashekar
Director Gunashekar has no project after his flop film Sainikudu with Mahesh Babu. His name was heard with Megastar’s 149th film and then it was heard with Balakrishna for the film Saadhu.Those two films couldn’t get materialized for some reason, but he is coming up with a film Katthi- where Prabhas is the hero. DVV Dhanaiagh will produce the film. More details are awaited.
Why Mahesh Babu’s ‘Mirchi’ project shelved?
S Gopal Reddy and Dr KL Narayana wanted to make a film Mirchi with Mahesh Babu and they have chosen Jasti Hemambar as their director. But the film is shelved before it hits the floors- Why?
The latest we heard from filmnagar is that Mahesh Babu demanded Rs 8 Crs as remuneration for which the producers expressed their inability to pay that much, ultimately the project was shelved.
But there are many producers who are ready to sign Mahesh Babu for the same amount. And Mahesh Babu is not getting suitable script to begin with.
Anyway, we heard latest that Trivikram‘s Varudu is finalized for Mahesh. Singamalai Ramesh and Manjula will produce the film and at the same time Mahesh will not be any release in the year 2008.
Trisha to pair with with Uday Kiran.
Trisha is pairing up with Uday Kiran. Moser Baer is planning to remake the Hindi film Jab We Met in Telugu and Tamil. Now this big production house is pairing up Trisha with Uday Kiran for this film. Obviously, Trisha‘s remuneration is more than that of Uday Kiran. We observed similar situation for Ileana and Tarun‘s Bhale Dongalu film.
Popular TV anchor Jhansi is dubbing for Tabu in Chandra Siddhardh’s latest film Idi Sangathi. The leading female dubbing artists are Sunitha and Savitha Reddy. Another anchor Udaya Bhanu tried her hand at dubbing with Sri Anjaneyam film. We have to wait and see if Jhansi continues dubbing or not. Shooting of Idi Sangati is complete. The audio will be released in a couple of days. Chandra Siddhardha is going to release Idi Sangati all over Andhra Pradesh and overseas on his own. The release date is 22 February.
