Her recent Tollywood and Bollywood films may have tanked, but Amrita Rao has emerged in a new avatar. She has her girl-next-door image and has now joined the oomph brigade, thanks to her new sexy look. “My clothes in the song were spoken about so much, but that’s something all youngsters wear to a beach today. But I’m glad the audience liked it,” she says. But Amrita is quick to add that she won’t be going sensual in every film.
“I’ve been popular for my girl-next-door image and I wouldn’t want to break anything I’ve done in the past. But I’d like to change the contrived definition of the girl-next-door. I wonder why the girl-next-door can’t be attractive and sexy as well? A woman is incomplete without sensuality — but I wouldn’t compromise on my comfort,” says Amrita.
