Kelly Dorjee, who played the villan role in Nagarjuna’s Don, was surprised to watch the entire unit perform a pooja after shooting the actor's death scene. The pooja was performed after Kelly finished shooting the climax scene. After the shot Kelly was surprised to see that the director Raghava Lawrence, Nagarjuna and other unit members had called for a pandit to perform pooja so that no harm comes to Kelly in real life."
When contacted, Kelly confirms the incident says, "Yes, I was extremely touched by their gesture. Nagarjuna, Raghava and the unit members organized a havan for my well being. That's when I found out that it's a custom that they religiously follow if any actor shoots a death scene. That's not all! Raghava did not stop rolling the camera even after my scene was canned. He said 'Cut' only after I got up. “ I have traveled all over the world but I have seen such a caring attitude only in our country," he added.
