Mahesh Babu has finalized three projects--one with director Trivikram Srinivas, another one with Puri Jagannadh and the third one with director Gowtham Menon. But for unknown reasons, his upcoming project, which is supposed to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas, has been getting delayed and delayed. Few say the script is not yet ready.

Others say the team is unable to pick the right heroines and many others says it is because of producer Singanamala Ramesh, as he is busy with the production work of Pawan Kalyan starrar Komuram Puli. Whatever may be the reasons, Mahesh Babu’s film is all getting ready to hit floors for Sankranti. It is said that the fist schedule of this film will be in Hyderabad and latter the unit will move to Maharastara for canning another schedule.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Arts is the own production house of Kalyan Ram who established himself and his house with the hit ‘Athanokkade’ which was followed by another hit ‘Hare Ram’ under the same banner.

Following the previous two hits, Kalyan Ram is now planning a subsequent movie debuting Naresh as a director. The movie is said to go to the floors shortly which features Kalyan and Hansika of ‘Kanthri’, ‘Desamuduru’ fame in the lead cast.

Hansika is currently working for a special item song in Prabhas's 'Billa'.

Katrina Kaif is showering all her attention on Salman Khan these days. The buzz is that Katrina has flown to Chandigarh to be with Salman while he is shooting for London Dreams. Considering that Katrina seldom visits Salman on the sets, this new development has caught the unit of the film off guard, especially since she is there when Salman’s co-star, Asin is also scheduled to shoot there. Earlier Katrina had visited Salman on Veer’s sets while her look-alike Zarine Khan was there.

Now, she has reached Chandigarh. One may wonder if Katrina is keeping a check on her beau while he is in the company of other female co-stars. “Of course, why would she otherwise fly off to Chandigarh on the day when Asin is scheduled to shoot there? She recently spent the New Year with Salman and guess she didn’t have enough of him,” our source says.

Couple of years back everything was fine in between Chiranjeeevi and Nagarjuna. There was also news saying that Chiranjeevi was producing a film with Nagarjuna. But everything seems to be changed in between them, after Chiranjeevi’s launched Prajarajyam. Like many others, Nagarjuna too doesn’t seem to be supporting Chiranjeevi. Nagarjuna, who always maintained distance from politics, recently surprised everyone appearing in the advertisements of Congress.

There is also rumor that Nagarjuna is indirectly supporting Congress as he needs political support for converting Anapoorna Studios in to a commercial complex. According to recent sources, Nagarjuna has simply rejected Chiranjeevi’s request to allow a parking space at the back gate of Annapurna studios, which is just behind Prajarajyam office. It is said that earlier Nagarjuna agreed but now he simply rejected now for obvious reasons.

Sankranthi is one festival next to Diwali which usually have a release of anticipated movies. ‘Maska’ is one in the list starring Ram, Hansika and Sheela in the cast. Popular producer MS Raju is making this movie directed by B. Gopal on Sumanth Arts banner.

Sentiment props and movies are inseparable in Tollywood. MS Raju’s releases on Sankranthi have mostly become hits which paved way for ‘Maska’ coming this time. Adding spice to it is Ram’s and B. Gopal’s earlier hits which came out during the same festive day. Ram’s last ‘Ready’ was a super hit which was released on Sankranthi, 2008. All these elements and the trio’s combination have created much hype for the flick. MS Raju is pinning hopes on ‘Maska’ to become a hit.

The present moment’s spur is the title, ‘Maska’. Everyone knows maska is to deceive someone and woo them but we aren’t sure who’s going to be Maska-ed in this movie. Will the hero try to make the heroines fall for him or will they be after him? It could even be on how the hero evades the villains giving them a maska. We don’t have to wait for long as ‘Maska’ comes out shortly to answer these questions.
