Ramyakrishna says no to production

After marrying Krihnavamsi Ramya Krishna turned to production and produced Sri Anjaneyam. Unfortunately the film bombed at box office and both Krishnavamsi and Ramyakrishna were almost become bankrupt. There were rumors that due to this few problems were also raised in their married life. Recovered from the losses, they are very happy now. " We are very happy now. Even if he is so busy, he keeps calling me all the time," says Ramya Krishna.

Apart from Television show Jara Masti Jara Dhoom, Ramya Krishna did few films including Naa Alludu, Sri Krishna 2006 and Tulasi, in which she played important roles. Ask her is she interest in production, she strictly days no. " I don't want to go for either production or direction. If the time comes I will think about to producing Television show," said Ramya Krishna. " But I continue acting in films," she added.

Puri-Prabhas "Bujjigadu" in May

Director Puri Jagannadh will be recreating the chemistry of Trisha and Prabhas in his upcoming Bujjigadu-Made in Chennai. Produced by K.S.Rama Rao’s Creative Commercials Bujjigadu is a love story with a touch of mass, director Puri Jagannadh said. The film will be ready for a summer release in May while its audio will be launched in the second week of April. Actor Mohan Babu will be doing a special role that is touted as the film’s USP. After Bujjigadu Puri Jagannadh will start work on Ravi Teja’s Neninthe. The film will be launched in May itself after which Puri is committed to Naga Chaitanya’s film from November.

MS Raju to produce Sadhu with NBK?

Director Gunashekar who is known for big budget films is joining another lavish producer MS Raju to make a huge budget film Sadhu. Nandamuri Balakrishna will play the title role.Gunashekar and MS Raju together have produced blockbuster like Okkadu. Now this combination is coming together to deliver a big hit for NBK.

Balayaa said to have nodded his approval for this big budget film and formal announcement of this film will be made on 10th May, which happened to be the birthday of MS Raju.

NTR National Award for Waheeda Rehman

Veteran Hindi film actress Waheeda Rehman, is known for her timeless beauty as much as for her unparalled acting skills. Shivaji Raja’s parents file case in Family court

In yet another instance of families washing dirty linen in public, Ramaraju and Chandravathi parents of popular actor and television host Shivaji Raja filed a case of neglect and abuse against the actor in the Family Court. Accusing the actor of neglecting them and not providing them with so much as a roof over their head and food, Ramaraju unveiled his pathetic story to TV 9. “Even though he (Shivaji Raja) was earning good money we used to still stay with our daughter. But now after my daughter’s death we have nobody to take care of us. He would not take us in but instead asked us to die” Ramaraju told the media. Ramaraju and wife Chandravathi told the media. “I sold my Mangalsutra to help him in his career” Chandravathi said. The couple is reportedly staying under a water tank.

“It was my friends who helped me in more ways than one to build my career” Shivaji refuted. “I used to send them Rs.5000 every month. But after my sister’s death certain family issues took place because of which I stopped sending them the money. Other than that I have not done anything that they are accusing me of. I have such a good wife, brothers-in-law and friends but it is my parents who have taken me to the road. After all that has happened if I do not speak out now I will be thought of as the culprit. After surviving a near death experience a couple of years ago, this is all that my parents can think off to do to me.” Shivaji Raja said speaking to the media “After all that was said and done on TV I don’t have anything more to lose”Shivaji replied.

Puri's next film with Naga Chaitanya

With 'Desamuduru' & 'Pokiri' running packed houses Puri Jagannadh has climbed the top spot among the directors of Tollywood.

Sources inside the film industry suggest that this director is all set for doing his next film with Naga Chaitanya, the son of Akkineni Nagarjuna. This will be Naga Chaitanya's debut film. The movie will be made under his banner 'Vaishno Academy'.

The shooting for this new project will begin in July. The director holds credit for introducing many new heroes who are doing a good job in the film industry. He introduced Mahesh Babu in 'Pokiri' & Allu Arjun in 'Desamuduru' with novel charaterizations and both films were runaway hits.

Jagan also takes credit for introducing the megastar's son Ram Charan, who was widley accepted by the audience. The director has plans to introduce the son of Nagarjuna too in a fresh role. Right now this director is busy filming 'Bujjigadu- made in chennai'

Pawan Kalyan is likely to star for two different roles in Puli which would be directed by S J Surya. This was planned originally with Vijay and things went wrong and finally Pavan would be starring as powerful cop with thick mustaches and military cut of hairs. This flick would be launched in April. 'Kantri' takes off!

The shooting for the film 'Kantri' has successfully started. This film starres Jr. NTR in the hero's role. Twin heroines, Hansika & Tanisha will share screen space with the hero for this film.

As I am writting this article a marriage scene and some fight sequences are being shot at the Ramoji film city in Hydrabad. The shoot centres around Jr. NTR, Prakash Raj, Hansika, and Raghu Babu.

Today will be the last day of shoot in Film City, if things move on per shcedule. The audio release for this film will take place towards the end of this month, with Mani Sharma's tunes drifting through the film. K. Sai Baba is the executive producer of this flick.

Bilingual 'Citizen' shoots a song

The team of 'Citizen' is gearing up for relaase next month. The film directed by Sai Prakash has Sai Kumar playing the hero. Recently a song was shot for 'Citizen' was shot in the cool locales of Bellari in Bangalore.

The song is written by Suddala Ashok Teja the music is composed by Vandematharam Srinivas. Balasubramaniyam has given his melodious voice to the song.

Some scenes of importance will be shot form bangalore today tomorrow and day after. The talkie part of the film is almost through.

There a some high points in this film like an item song being shot with Mumaith Khan. The team is gearing up for release in May and the filming is going on in Telugu and Kannada.

Apart from the hero Sai Kumar, the cast includes Ashish Vidhyarthi, Jaiprakash Reddy & Ajay. The stunts has been put together by Thriller Manju.

Shahrukh-Hrithik: The highlight of Krazzy 4

After wowing the audiences with superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s item song for ‘Krazzy 4‘, Rakesh Roshan and Director Jaideep Sen are all set with one more ace up their sleeve- an item song by dance king Hrithik Roshan!! What‘s more, the film is set to create a record of sorts with the two stars having their item numbers choreographed to the tunes of one song- the title number ‘BreakFree..‘ of ‘Krazzy 4‘!!

The promos of the stunningly choreographed Hrithik‘s song will start airing this week, and from what we hear, it has some the best dance moves ever! Says the director, "It was a delight to direct SRK and I must say the song is getting popular day by day. Hrithik‘s song is on the same tune but there is a slight change in lyrics. ‘Krazzy 4‘ is a light-hearted comedy focusing on four ‘Krazzy‘ guys - Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Irrfan Khan and Suresh Menon along with their psychiatrist Juhi Chawla. Releasing on April 11, 2008, it is directed by debutant Jaideep Sen and produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft.

Urmila Matondkar with Himesh Reshammiya in Karzzzz

It is stale by now that Urmila Matondkar is playing the challenging role of Kamini for the remake of Subhash Ghai’s ‘Karz’. The role was played by Simi Garewal in the original version. Himesh Reshammiya is playing the lead role in this Satish Kaushik remake which has been named ‘Karzzzz’.

Recently, Himesh and Urmila completed a 40-day outdoor shoot in South Africa and Johannesberg for the movie. The duo is also set to shoot an item song soon. The song which has been sung by queen of item songs Sunidhi Chauhan is called ‘Tandoori Nights’. To be known that this song was not there in the original flick.

Urmila has been given a makeover for her look in the film. Comments Himesh, “Urmila’s glam look has been styled by Manish Malhotra, and producer Bhushan Kumar had a certain concept in mind and he told Manish what he wanted. It’s a blend of elegance and oomph, pastels with shimmer and satin.” Himesh’s look has been designed by his sister Rupa.

After a successful stunt on television as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati for two seasons, Amitabh Bachchan is set to woo television audiences once again.

However, this time Big B will be seen in the ‘hot seat’ as a celebrity guest after being roped in for the grand finale of Chhote Ustaad . Confirming this, a source said, “Hopefully, this will finally put an end to all the talk about a fall-out between the channel and Amitabh Bachchan.” Interestingly, the star had turned down several TV offers in the past.

And among the rumours doing rounds is one of him turning down the offer of a show that was to be slotted at the same time as a to-be-launched Shah Rukh Khan-hosted show.

Tabu‘s dislike for Irfaan Khan!

So Amisha Patel has gone up in life and signed Shah Rukh Khan’s Billoo Barber, where SRK plays Krishna and Irrfan plays Sudama.

We know that SRK had offered the role to Tabu first, but Tabu rejected it. One reason was, of course, that the role didn’t offer much for her. But there’s another reason too. And that’s the presence of Irrfan in the cast.

It’s a fact that Tabu and Irrfan have crackling chemistry on screen and a bitter
relationship off it. The main draw of The Namesake was the draw of Tabu and Irrfan for each other, in Maqbool, they were red hot with each other. But it’s also true that for the most part they didn’t talk to each other all through the making of The Namesake.

The dislike is not really mutual. It’s more on Tabu’s part than Irrfan’s. Her irritation with Irrfan stems from the fact that he likes to let on as if they’re truly drawn to each other off-screen as well. A close friend of Tabu says, "Tabu doesn’t like Irrfan showing to the world that there’s more to their relationship than actually is."

For instance, with other people around, he talks to her more intimately on the phone than he would otherwise. It annoys Tabu no end.The dislike surfaced visibly when the media once asked Tabu about the party that Uma Thurman had thrown for the cast of The Namesake. "It was no big deal, what can I say?" she had replied, adding, "Ask Irrfan about it, he likes to talk about these things." A not-so-veiled barb, surely.

So, no thanks. Tabu didn’t want to play Sudama, that’s Irrfan’s, wife. That too, without a meaty role to boot.

Gamyam in Hindi with Amrita Rao

Debutant director Radhakrishna‘s (Krish) Gamyam is doing extra-ordinarily well at the box office. Now the film is to be remade in Hindi with director Krish. Pyramid Sai Meera who released the Gamyam in AP and Geeta Arts of Allu Arvind are competing to bag the remake rights for Hindi. One of these two will remake the film.

On the other hand, Krish finalizing the star selection for that film-Krish wants Amrita Rao for Kamilini Mukarjee’s role. Kunal Kemo of Traffic Signal is likely to play the Gaali Seenu- Allari Naresh. Kunal Kapoor is likely to play the role of Sharwanand.

M.S. Raju signs Boyapati Sreenu

MS Raju had earlier planned a film with Teja. However, after facing a disaster like ‘Vaana’ that came in his own direction, he shelved all the projects including of the one with Teja. After recovering from the shock, the star producer had set his eyes again on the films and is now planning a film on the banner of Sumanth Arts with Boyapati Sreenu, who gave a hit like ‘Tulasi’ in recent times.

Celina abused by Pakistani Cricketers

On Sunday, when Celina Jaitley was invited to perform at the Indian Cricket League's match between Pakistan and India, she had what could be termed an encounter with abusive guests from across the border. It is not a surprise that Kamal Hassan will always have something new and unique in his films. But this time he seems to have pulled out a casting coup of sorts, even if they were visually manipulated. In his latest film Dasavatharam Kamal will be playing the role of a scientist who gets honored by the Tamilnadu state government for his achievements in the scientific field. To get the scene to be more authentic Kamal sought the permission of TN chief minister Karunanidhi, so that Kamal can use the chief’s visually recreated image for one of the film’s scenes. Kamal ropes in CM and Ex CM for Dasavatharam

It doesn't get bigger than this; Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Dasavatharam, which is being directed by K. S. Ravi Kumar and produced by Oscar Ravichandran, is pulling all stops in its quest to becoming the most talked about film for a long time. Beginning with the audio release, which is to be presided over by none other than Asian martial arts legend Jackie Chan, the film has now added another feather to its cap, or in this case, two feathers. The film will feature two of Tamil Nadu's biggest politicians in cameo appearances M. Karunanidhi, the reigning CM and former CM J. Jayalalithaa.

After conceptualizing the story, Kamal and Ravichandran felt that it would be apt to include Mr Karunanidhi as part of the scene. According to sources, after Kamal approached the CM, the latter gave him his approval of making a cameo in the film as he considered himself as a member of the same fraternity. But Kamal wasn't satisfied with this alone. He wanted to rope in yet another celebrity and a woman of high stature, in this case former Chief Minster Jayalalithaa.
